There's an Impark surface lot about half a block north. The rates aren't the greatest though, but you could anticipate to spend about an hour at I Love Sushi, so it's not a huge expense. There's sometimes street parking available, but it's usually pretty busy. If you're doing takeout you can get away with the stopping at the customer loading zones along the street!
No they don't
I get to eat here a lot since I work in the area. I got to say their customer service is always great and they keep the place neat at all times. Rates are affordable and they serve large portions.
Made a trip to Edmonton to see some friends in the area. We decided too stop and have a bite here and let me spell it out for you F-O-O-D--P-O-I-S-O-NSuch a terrible experience. Terrible tasting food, Staff is so unhelpful, rude, and all have staring problems.... I ordered a bento box and was puking my brains out all night... their fish is not fresh... and it should be considering its raw. the staff is always rude and expects very big tip for terrible service... all around bad bad place and I wouldn't eat here.... reading reviews below about people finding hair in their food..... that disgusts me so much this place should be shut down.
Affordable and constantly delivers quality food and service. One of the few sushi restaurants downtown, and there is never a wait.
Great lunch time place for well-priced, high quality sushi. Service is always very good, as is the food. It tends to get busy during the lunch hour so make a reservation or go early - it's a smaller restaurant.
Mediocre sashimi, but good everything else. Quick service, decent price.
Very disappointed with my takeout order. The rice is dry, the fish is not fresh and in very tiny portions. Tempura is greasy, the grease exploded in my mouth. This was supposed to be a treat meal. Would not order takeout from here again.
Such good food and the place is cozy.
Had the assorted sashimi and was not disappointed. Will be back the next time I am in Edmonton.
I've been coming here for over ~6 years now for both lunch and dinner. Overall, it is definitely a go-to spot for lunch: their lunch sets are really worth for the amount and quality of food. Their other items are decently priced as well. However, if I were to compare them in terms of Japanese food, then there are noticeable differences between this restaurant and other places (in terms of food selection, quality, consistency).
The food is always delicious. Food is freshly made and efficient; food comes out pretty quick. Food is reasonably priced compared to other sushi restaurants where portions are the same but costs more. Definitely my go to sushi spot.
fast service, good food and price is affordable.
Great food. Beautiful service.
This is the first negative review that I have ever posted. I am extremely disappointed with the service and quality of the food from this restaurant. I have ordered take-out from this place probably a dozen times now, and every time they have told me that it will be ready in 10-15 minutes. I think that only one time was it actually ready when I arrived 15 minutes later. Nearly every time, I would arrive and it hadn't even been started. I have had to wait up to an hour after arriving, even when there are only one or two tables full in the restaurant itself. As for quality, the "large salmon sashimi" seems to have progressively shrunk every time I order, perhaps in line with the shrinking tip due to having to wait such a long time each time. This last order was the final straw and we will not be ordering from here again. They left out a whole roll out of a 4-item order. We will no longer be choosing convenience over quality and will not return.
If you love sushi, this place is where it's at. Not just tasty but their plating is super nice. The decor and atmosphere is very cozy and warm. The super spider maki roll was amazinggg. Can't go wrong with soft shell crab. The server was very nice and friendly. (Sorry for putting up with my boyfriend's obnoxious jokes) You guys are the best!!!
Pretty good sushi. Yaki udon was good too. Service was Good, all around a descent sushi place downtown.
Fast service and great tasting food. The sashimi is excellant as well, definitely on par with the prices. Great place for lunch but quite a small place very quaint though.
I am a loyal customer to I Love Sushi! There’s no wait time to get seated, we get served right away. The food doesn’t take long to make and is phenomenal! It’s also very affordable for the quality of the food! The atmosphere is also very local and gives off authentic Japanese vibes! Would 100% recommend!
The Maki rolls are amazing, the service even better!
Great place when you're feeling like some quick Japanese cuisine. Fairly priced, quick service and friendly staff. The only major downside to this place is if you decide to go during the lunch rush seating is very limited.
Great little place. Been only a few times over the past decade. But it's quality is consistent and that consistency is a very high standard. My favorite chicken Bento in town. The way they deepfry it is amazing.
Very neat and welcoming place. I enjoyed the food very much and the staff members were very amiable and informative. I recommend this place.
This place is a favorite spot for many in our office. It's often busy and hard to find seating, but it's only because the food is so good!
Fantastic service, large portions for the price, melt in your mouth Tuna. Well worth eating at this great hole in the wall restaurant
Always quick and swift service. Great little hole in the wall for some delicious sushi and snacks in the heart of downtown Edmonton. Including prices that won't break the bank. I've always loved this spot!
Super cute little Sushi place with good food and service. Prices were reasonable for the food.
Wonderful experience with all of their sushi rolls. From basics (salmon, tuna, avocado) to specialty (Sakura, Rainbow, Black Dragon) rolls, the sushi is an absolute highlight. All at very reasonable prices.
Small intimate space with good sashimi, the Toro is a must have and so are the Nigiri rolls.
Best service I've experienced in 20 years. Waiter was super helpful figuring out gluten free options and was extremely attentive the whole time. FYI its not affiliated with the "i love sushi" in regina.
Amazing quality, has a welcoming environment
Amazing sushi place. Will definitely visit again!
Fresh food and great service. Been going here for almost 10 years and have yet to be disappointed. Ordered food through Skip the Dishes once and was pleasantly surprised they separated the sauces to make sure that food didn't arrive soggy. Would recommend to everyone.
The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Left the restaurant perfectly satisfied!
Faster than other Sushi restaurants that I've been before. Clean and friendly staff make me enjoy sushi more. I love it. :)
Really great for the price! Spent about $22/person and were incredibly full, also everything felt high quality and made well :) will be coming back 100%
Tried this spot before with my friend and I am addicted ever since. I love the fantastic character and delicious food and beverages. I recommend this place.
Terrible place to eat. not clean at all and very rude staff.
I simply love their food. I always get fantastic service there. The place is always clean and the cashiers are always very friendly. Highly recommended.
Simple and little food place, so get there early if you’re in a group. Although I got there and not many people were there, and it was a peaceful but lovely experience. Good Japanese food, price is decent, and a great find by Jasper Avenue if you want something quick but worth the while.
Nice little sushi place. Unassuming and cozy. Friendly attentive staff.
Exceptional food, friendly staff members, constantly awesome ambience. They charge fair rates and the food quality is good. Keep up the good work.
Went at lunchtime and was pretty busy. Staff was friendly, but very busy. Service was good and timely. Sushi was good quality and they don’t skimp on the wasabi! Pricing is decent, and food was decent. Not the best sushi restaurant I’ve been to in the city but definitely not the worst. Would definitely go back.
It was my first time here and it was absolutely fantastic (Honestly the best Japanese restaurant in Edmonton by far).I ordered beef sushi bento, salmon donburi and salmon dreams maki. Every dishes were delicious, flavorful and affordable!! The server is very polite and nice. Also, the washroom is clean and well maintained, which is definitely be a plus. I will undoubtedly be coming back to try more things:)!
Super nice staff and the food was great! Food came out in a reasonable amount of time since ordering, and the restaurant is clean.
Cute place, great food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices.
Delicious food. Cozy atmosphere. Fast & Friendly service.
BEST SUSHI IN E TOWN!!! highly recommended 👍🏽
Their service was amazing and serving time was really quick. I would love to visit again for high-quality Japanese cuisine.
The environment was nice, wasn't too busy. The sushi we ordered wasn't the big kind that we expected. The bento and the chicken don was a good a portion for the price.
Fast, attentive service and delicious, well-priced food! I would highly recommend the veggie bento box, which is very tasty and generously portioned.
Place us small, good service. Super quick at cleaning your plate. Maybe a bit too quick. Food is good, and great price for a sushi place downtown.
